WHY: The purpose of this role is to enable plants to achieve world-class electrical quality, manufacturing performance, and Software Defined Vehicle readiness by leading the team responsible for transforming plant, quality, and operational data into trusted insights, scalable solutions, and practical adoption across the manufacturing network.

WHAT: As a Business Intelligence and AI supervisor you will lead a team of AI Engagement Leads and Business Intelligence Engineers, providing strategic direction, people leadership, prioritization, and governance for analytics, BI, and AI solutions across Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV.

HOW: You will succeed in this role by building a strong team, aligning plant and central stakeholders around the highest-value opportunities, standardizing KPIs and best practices, and ensuring the team delivers scalable, secure, and actionable analytics and AI solutions that are embedded into daily manufacturing operations.

Work Arrangement - Onsite

The successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Tech Center on a full-time basis (Monday-Friday). This role requires up to 25% domestic and international travel.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

  • Foster a forward-thinking work culture that embraces change and navigates future organizational and industry challenges.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships across various functionsincludingsoftware, manufacturing, and program management to synergize efforts towards future innovations.
  • Lead and develop the AI, BI, and analytics team supporting Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV.
  • Set strategy and priorities for scalable analytics, BI, and AI solutions that improve manufacturing performance, quality, and efficiency.
  • Partner across plants, engineering, quality, IT, and leadership to identify high-value problems and translate them into technical roadmaps and solutions.
  • Standardize KPIs, data, reporting, governance, and best practices across regional and global manufacturing teams.
  • Drive adoption, measure impact, and support both urgent operational needs and long-term capability building.

Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • 5+ years in experience with cloud-based data and analytics platforms such as Databricks or similar technologies.
  • Experience leading teams in data analytics, business intelligence, AI, or digital transformation.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, prioritization, talent development, and performance management.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across plant operations, engineering, quality, and IT organizations.
  • Strong business acumen in manufacturing, quality, and operational processes, with the ability to connect technical solutions to plant outcomes.
  • Advanced knowledge of BI and data solution delivery, including SQL, Power BI, data modeling, ETL, and end-to-end deployment.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience scaling analytics, AI, and BI capabilities across multiple plants, regions, or global organizations.
  • Experience with cloud-based data and analytics platforms such as Databricks or similar technologies.
  • Experience driving change management, training, and adoption for analytics and digital solutions across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience integrating analytics and AI solutions into MES, IT systems, and manufacturing workflows.
  • Vehicle program launch and/or vehicle assembly manufacturing experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through data, analytics, and AI.
This role is categorized as onsite. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location on a full-time basis. The selected candidate will be required to travel <25% for this role. This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
