Data touches nearly every part of Betenboughfrom sales and construction to finance, purchasing, warranty, leadership, and the way we serve homebuyers across West Texas.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will help turn data into reports, dashboards, data sources, and analysis that teams can use every day. This role is about more than writing SQL or building in Tableau. It is about understanding real business questions, partnering with people across the company, and creating practical data solutions that help teams do their work well.

When data is clear, people can make better decisions, solve problems faster, and serve others with more confidence.

How You Will Contribute

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will help build and support the data solutions our teams use every day.

You will:

  • Partner with teams across the business to understand reporting needs, clarify questions, and build practical data solutions
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, data sources, and self-service tools that help teams understand performance
  • Create ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions, identify trends, and support better ways of operating
  • Transform raw data into reliable, useful data sources for reporting and analysis
  • Troubleshoot report, data, and stakeholder issues through helpdesk triage and ongoing support
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and next steps clearly and respectfully
  • Create documentation, walkthroughs, and training that help others confidently use what you build

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Experience using data to improve business processes or solve business problems
  • Experience writing SQL queries, including joins across relational database tables
  • Experience with Excel
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or another reporting and visualization tool
  • Basic understanding of data modeling, ETL, or data warehousing concepts
  • Ability to ask good questions, understand business needs, and translate those needs into practical reporting or data solutions
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to organize work, follow through on requests, and communicate next steps clearly

Preferred Qualifications

Experience or familiarity with:

  • Tableau
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Data architecture or data design
  • Python or other scripting tools
  • Data warehouses or BI data models
  • Self-service reporting solutions
  • Statistics, predictive modeling, or data mining
  • Accounting, finance, operational reporting, or homebuilding data
  • Third-party data integrations
  • Documentation, training, or stakeholder support for reporting tools

Work Environment

  • Office-based role in a temperature-controlled environment
  • Requires regular computer work and communication with team members, stakeholders, and vendors
  • Must be able to perform all job expectations safely with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license and be insurable by company fleet insurance, if required for the role

Hours & Schedule

  • 4045 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 AM5:00 PM
  • Occasional after-hours support, meetings, events, deadlines, or inter-region collaboration may be required
