Job description

Assembly & Test Operator

Responsibilities:

Follow manufacturing methods to perform normal job tasks in a safe manner under the direction of the supervisor, group leader or experienced associates in the area. Work with a partner in most cases. Perform general clean up to keep work area clean and organized. Operate test bench and load test data in the system. Verify test results and promote part to final assembly and paint. Perform final assembly and Paint for final pump. Log the serial numbers for assembly and communicate with Planning and Order management the readiness for shipping. Follows Company's Compliance requirements. Maintains and improves the quality management system. Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Organization Relationships:

Regardless of other duties, the PCP Assembly & Test operator has a responsibility to follow LUFKIN production, safety, and quality procedures.

Requirements:

Education and Training: High school or as deemed sufficient by management. Technical Requirements: ability to read and interpret routine instructions; use of ERP system; basic computer skills; ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; ability to operate material moving equipment โ€“overhead crane. Experience: At least 2 years work experience in the area, or as deemed sufficient by management.
