Overview

VTG is looking for a highly motivated (SOO) Intelligence Operations Support Officer to join our team in Chantilly VA. 


What will you do?

The SOO will provide day-to-day communications support among a dispersed set of stakeholders. You will be responsible for independently managing multiple multidisciplinary projects which will involve coordinating with outside stakeholders. A successful candidate will have experience suggestion solutions to complex problems. 

Tasks:

  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects
  • Working with stakeholders - both internal and external - craft complex solutions to technical problems
  • Work with multiple types of team members, with widely different skillsets, to complete projects
  • Audit projects to ensure they are meeting stated program goals and staying within scope
  • Present to senior officials
  • Respond to program communications and provide guidance when needed

Required skills:

  • TS/SCI with Poly
  • BA/BS Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 5 - 11+ years Technical related experience (Full Performance 5+ years, Senior 8+ years, Expert 11+ years)
  • Requirements:

    • Prior SOO experience with the sponsor
    • Successful demonstration of the traditional SOO skillset
    • Ability to integrate into a multidisciplinary team as a functioning member
    • Ability to present to stakeholders of multiple seniority levels and differing levels of technical understanding
    • Other specialized skills will be requested upon application to position

    Desired Skills:

    • Working knowledge in computer and network operating systems, cryptocurrency, network security, enterprise network security
    • Prior experience working with the customer

    Key Skills: 

    • 5 years of SOO experience with the customer. 
    • Experience using customer reporting.
    • Experience planning, coordinating, and supporting customer operations. 
    • Experience being the interface between local offices and field base offices.
    • Experience coordinating customer interactions with multiple entities withing government agencies.
