Your Contribution
  • Continuously monitor selected key industries, competitors and technologies and provide related intelligence
  • Independently conduct market research - primary and secondary - related to existing or new business
  • Set up and improve market data models, incl. forecasting and sizing for technological markets independently
  • Execute MI related projects for respective stakeholders
  • Participate in lead conferences, if reasonable
  • Manage the central information sharing platform in the regional context
  • Master Databases and Market Intelligence Platforms at SCHOTT
  • Escalate any issues that may arise to the Head of Global Market Intelligence
  • Raise awareness about new providers to Head of Global Market Intelligence and coordinate testing and assessment of the test on own responsibility
  • Lead negotiations and manage regional external providers in conjunction with the Head of Global Market Intelligence
  • Closely collaborate with internal functions and business unit ensuring knowledge and best practice sharing in market and competitive intelligence
  • Actively support the Head of Global Market Intelligence in execution and coordination of regular MI Community meetings
  • Critically review and optimize standing workflows, i.e. to semi-automate or even automate processes, e.g. through usage of AI
  • Any other task that falls into the scope of market and competitive intelligence
Your Profile
  • University degree in Economics, Engineering, or like similiar related education
  • (3) to (5) yeras of experience in market/competitive intelligence, strategy, or market research in an international B2B environment
  • Fluency in English language to include reading, writing and oral
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ideally first experience in data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI) and AI solutions for MI
  • Strategic thinker
  • Stong business acumen
  • Self-driven / self-motivated
