Description

Join the Global Leader in Mind-Body Movement

Balanced Body is an energetic, environmentally sensitive company that is growing! As the world leader in Pilates equipment and education, we are passionate about changing lives. We are currently seeking a motivated Reporting Intern to join our Business Intelligence team for a high-impact migration project.

If you are a data enthusiast looking to gain hands-on experience with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem in a thriving manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!

The Opportunity

In this role, you won't just be "shadowing"-you'll be a contributing team member. You will focus on a critical mission: migrating our existing SSRS reports into solutions compatible with our D365 SaaS environment (CRM and Business Central).

You'll work closely with our ERP Systems Integration & Reporting team, giving you a front-row seat to how a global organization leverages data to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze & Translate: Deep-dive into existing SSRS reports to understand data requirements and logic.
  • Modernize: Convert legacy reports into functional, high-performing solutions within the D365 SaaS environment.
  • Collaborate: Partner with the BI team and internal stakeholders to ensure reports are accurate, insightful, and user-friendly.
  • Innovate: Utilize your classroom knowledge of SQL and Power BI to solve real-world data challenges.

Requirements

What You Bring to the Table

We are looking for a self-starter who is ready to learn and execute. Ideally, you possess:

  • Academic Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Info Systems, Data/Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Technical Foundation: Exposure to SQL query building and SSRS report building (coursework or personal projects are great!).
  • The Tech Stack: Familiarity with Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SharePoint, and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Analytical Mindset: A basic understanding of functional requirements, process flow diagrams, and technical specifications.

Bonus Points for:

  • Experience with Power BI design or Jet Reports.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM or Business Central).
  • An interest in how analytics works within a manufacturing or product-based company.
Why Balanced Body?

We offer the stability of an established industry leader with the heart of a small, passionate community. This is a temporary internship/contract position where you will work with "really nice people" who value your growth.

How to Apply

Ready to jumpstart your career in Data & ERP systems? When submitting your resume, please include a brief description of any relevant coursework, projects, or experience involving SQL, Power BI, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Balanced Body is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to workforce diversity.
