About the Role

Drive the future of embedded Commercial Off-The-Shelf (eCOTS) solutions as a Senior Solutions Architect at Intel. You'll lead technical innovation and customer engagement initiatives that accelerate adoption of Intel-based eCOTS platforms across private, public, and hybrid cloud environments. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic customer relationship management to deliver transformative computing solutions.

As the primary technical advocate within our sales organization, you'll guide customers and partners from initial concept through successful deployment, ensuring Intel technologies meet their most demanding requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design Leadership

  • Lead comprehensive solution architecture development tailored to specific customer requirements
  • Translate complex business and technical challenges into scalable, Intel-powered solutions
  • Design and validate proof-of-concept implementations that demonstrate value and feasibility
  • Influence long-term solution strategies and go-to-market approaches

Customer & Partner Engagement

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison throughout the entire sales lifecycle
  • Engage directly with diverse stakeholders including US Government agencies, OEMs, ISVs, and system integrators
  • Conduct technical design sessions, product demonstrations, and solution evaluations
  • Build and maintain trusted technical relationships that drive deal progression and closure

Strategic Collaboration & Innovation

  • Partner with Intel business units to drive solution innovation and enhance product capabilities
  • Collaborate with account teams to identify opportunities and accelerate sales cycles
  • Support multi-year strategic planning and route-to-market optimization
  • Contribute to ecosystem development and partner enablement initiatives

Knowledge Leadership & Enablement

  • Develop compelling customer success stories, technical documentation, and implementation best practices
  • Provide technical mentorship and knowledge transfer to scale expertise across teams
  • Create and deliver technical content for customer presentations and industry events
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and market trends in the eCOTS space

Core Competencies

  • Strong communication skills with ability to present to technical and executive audiences
  • Ability to operate in a commission-based / performance-driven environment
Qualifications:

The Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research. The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • US Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering, Computer Science or in a related technical field
  • 4+ years of experience in one of the following:
    • Solution architecture
    • Technical pre-sales or sales engineering
    • Systems or platform engineering
  • Experience designing end-to-end technical solutions across hardware and software stacks
  • Experience in Cloud, on-prem, and hybrid infrastructure environments
  • Experience in Software stacks and system integration
  • Experience engaging with customers and partners in technical sales scenarios

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active US Government Security Clearance, with a minimum of Secret level
  • Experience with semiconductor or silicon-based solutions
  • Experience supporting U.S. Government (USG) or Defense Industrial Base (DIB) customers
  • Experience with federal contracting and procurement environments
  • Experience working with OEMs, ISVs, SIs, and partner ecosystems
  • Experience leading complex technical engagements and influencing architecture decisions
  • Experience translating technical solution design into customer business value
  • Experience developing technical collateral, customer architecture, and best practices

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $183,330.00-352,540.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
