Job description

NextGen Federal Systems is seeking an Ops/Intel Convergence SME in Aberdeen, MD. The Ops/Intel Convergence SME is focused on providing modern solutions, approaches, techniques, and tools from Systems Engineering practices to ensure Army programs process data in a secure, timely and resilient manner.
Responsibilities
  • Using local networks and over the air transport across echelons and mission areas requiring background in LAN/WAN, SATCOM, RF, and commercial technologies.
  • Deliver engineering solutions drawn across a background systems across the military, spanning Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps
  • Develop engineering products (digital engineering/MBSE) including but not limited to architecture diagrams, data flow definitions, systems and system of system analysis, dependency and behavior analysis artifacts.
  • Collaborate with the government on paths forward, risks, analysis of alternative solutions, and recommendations on best approaches within cost constraints.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • MA/MS/MBA from an accredited college or university.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in military command, control and communications, requirements analysis, advanced warfighting concepts and doctrine, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP); five (5) years of additional experience, and a BA/BS from an accredited college or university may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Active DoD security clearance at the Secret level or higher
