Job Description

Title: Platform technician & inventory technician
Location: Hillsboro, OR
Detailed JD
As an engineering lab technician, you will be setting up prototype platform hardware, install OS, drivers, firmware, BIOS etc as per engineer's direction and execute test suites and measure various electrical parameters using oscilloscope, power meter, frequency meter, logic analyzers etc and report the results to engineering team
Required skillset:
Familiar with Intel PC architecture
Ability to assemble PC platform, install OS drivers, firmware, BIOS etc independently
Strong trouble shooting skills
Ability to read electronics board schematic and layout files
Ability to use lab test equipment like digital oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power meters etc
Detailed test reporting skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good to have:
Previous intel engineer lab experience
Voltage regulator validation experience
Ability to do minor modifications in test scripts
SMT soldering and PCB rework skills
