Job Description:

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) responsible for Lattice customers in the Bay Area or Seattle area. Working closely with sales, this FAE is responsible for all pre-sale and post-sales technical interaction with customers and Lattice factory experts to maximize Lattice presence and design wins. If you are a strong self-learner and enjoy collaborating and interacting with other people, this could be a great opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new opportunities within accounts.

  • Give product presentations to the customer describing how Lattice products provide the optimum solution for their application.

  • Give product demonstrations and execute benchmarks to show product capabilities and ease of use.

  • Provide technical support to customers in their selection and use ofLatticesilicon products, development tools,IP,and solutions stack

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance that focuses on design win strategies for all customeropportunities

  • During customer's product design, being responsible for design assistance including onsite visits to review designs, examine customer problems and provide suggestions on innovative ways to use Lattice products.

  • Assist the customer throughout the development cycle to ensure successful completion of their product.

  • Provide solutions to a wide range of challenging problems.

  • Manage relationships between Lattice and customers by establishing relationships with key individuals at accounts.

  • Understand competitor's strengths and weaknesses relative to the appropriate technical strategy.

  • Provide timely feedback to the factory on product and strategy issues to ensure Latticecan respondto and/or anticipating changes needed to maintain success.

  • Position will requiresometravel to customer location

Desired Skills/Experience

  • 7+ years of desired experience with FPGA and/or ASIC design using Verilog or VHDL and simulation/verification tools

  • Experience withLattice Radiant and Diamond toolsand/or other FPGA vendor's development tools

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentations skills, and the ability to work with multiple groups and projects

  • Experience in a customer support or customer facing role a plus

Education

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. MS or PhD

We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline, and our compensation range reflects the cost of labor in the U.S. geographic market based on the location of the role. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant work experience.
