Strategic Parts Supply Chain (SPSC) is part of the Foundry Construction and Sourcing (FCS) team in Intel Foundry. We are responsible for developing and managing supply chain solutions supporting Intel Foundry's wafer development and manufacturing operations. SPSC is seeking an experienced Commodity Manager to join our team to drive supply chain efficiencies and optimization in Fab Equipment Spares and Service.
The Role and Impact:
As a Commodity Manager, you will play a pivotal role in Intel's global supply chain by developing and executing multiyear commodity strategies that ensure sustainable cost, quality, availability, and technology solutions aligned with Intel's dynamic business needs. Your expertise in supplier management, contracting, and market analysis will directly contribute to Intel's ability to innovate and deliver cutting-edge technologies that shape the future. You will leverage advanced knowledge of industry trends to optimize supplier relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable outcomes that support Intel's broader goals of affordability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute multiyear commodity strategies informed by industry and market dynamics to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to efficiently acquire materials and services in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Negotiate purchasing contracts, statements of work, and pricing for goods and services.
- Conduct periodic executive reviews of strategies and pivot as needed to address evolving market conditions.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and drive initiatives with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage supplier relationships globally, including business continuity planning and supplier development.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6+ years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields with a Bachelor's degree. Alternatively, 4+ years of experience with a Master's degree or 2+ years with a PhD.
- Experience in contracting, negotiating, and supplier relationship management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industries.
- Commodity management and program management expertise.
- Familiarity with Intel's purchasing policies and supplier system tools, such as Ariba.
- Proficiency in developing ROI and cost analysis models.

- Advanced knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, market dynamics, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Proven experience with data analysis tools, such as Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
