Summary:


To support our clients Vision Integrity Engineering is looking to hire for a part-time position an electrical inspector for field evaluations. The role is to carry out inspection of unapproved and custom-built electrical equipment to SPE-1000 and the Canadian Electrical Code. The role is Calgary-based with office and remote-based work. Inspections are provided primarily in Alberta with visits to other provinces also required.




PreferredRequired Qualifications and Experience:


Hold a current Certificate of Qualifications as a Journeyperson Electrician for a minimum of 6-years.
Hold a current Certificate of Qualifications as a Safety Codes Officer in Electrical Group A.
Experience in the interpretation and application of the CSA Electrical Standards.
Experience with the design, manufacture and testing of all types of electrical equipment.
Experience with inspecting a variety of electrical equipment including domestic, light and heavy industrial.
Have a mature and professional attitude towards work.
Experience preparing reports in Word and Excel.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to work safely and diligently.
Able to travel and work in the field in all seasonal conditions.
Valid Class 5 Drivers License is required.
