Job description

Seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician with proven experience in industrial piping/mechanical, HVAC, and chill water systems, and a strong mechanical aptitude. This role requires strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills in mechanical and electrical equipment failures to maintain operations. Hours are 9:30AM to 6PM, Mon-Fri.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·       High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical school, trade certification, or associate's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance HIGHLY preferred

·       2+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

SKILLS:

·       Strong diagnostic capabilities using preventative and predictive maintenance programs.

·       Familiarity with piping systems, plumbing, ductwork, regulators, gauges, and pneumatic/electrical-operated valves.

·       Basic fabrication skills using power tools, grinders, drill press, milling machine, and band saw.

·       Knowledge of pumps and troubleshooting methods, disassembly, rebuilding, repair and installation.

·       Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices and preventive maintenance programs.

·       Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred.
