Job Title: RN-Progressive Care Unit
Location: New Albany, IN
Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person, fostering a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are guided by evidence-based research, hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. The RN utilizes critical thinking and the nursing process to make clinical decisions, ensuring comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities include conducting nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, facilitating admissions, transfers, discharges, providing patient and family-centered education, and coordinating individualized treatment plans.
Required Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
  • BLS, ACLS certification.
  • ADN or ASN degree.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with care team members.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and applications or willingness to be trained.
  • Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety measures.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN degree.
  • Previous nursing experience.
