The Integrative Care Department offers the benefits of holistic healthcare to support and enhance a child's well-being and healing process. We use safe, proven complementary and alternative therapies integrated with traditional medical treatments. We are able to teach children effective ways to reduce stress, pain, discomfort and fear or anxiety. From general wellness to complex or chronic illness, we help children by giving them the opportunity to be active participants in their healthcare.

We provide outstanding family-centered pediatric, integrative, holistic care and are dedicated to education and research to expand the capability and knowledge of practitioners in this field nationally and globally. Our Integrative Care Team draws from a variety of clinical services in developing a personalized plan for each child. Services can be provided to children while they are hospitalized at Cincinnati Children's as part of their overall treatment plan.

We are recruiting an Integrative Care RN to help cover the Inpatient Units at the Main Hospital. The position is 40 hours per week (full-time), and the scheduled hours are flexible. The shifts are 8 hours, and we take one full weekend (Saturday & Sunday) every 6 weeks. No holidays or nights.

Qualifications: To be considered, candidates will have an Associate of Science degree in Nursing* and commitment to completing Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Candidates must have at least 2 years of nursing experience, Registered Nurse License in the State of Ohio, and Certification in Reiki I or Healing Touch I. Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) or other related integrative healthcare certification or licensure is extremely helpful but not required. BSN preferred.

* Associate/Diploma prepared RNs from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution.

Pay: The hourly rate starts at $32.80/hour, and can go up depending on experience. There is also $5.00/hour weekend differential.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE


Required:
·Associate's degree in nursing and commitment to BSN.
· 2 years integrative healthcare experience.
·Registered Nurse License
·Certification in Reiki I or Healing Touch I

Preferred:
·Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing.
·2 years of pediatric nursing experience
·Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) or other related integrative healthcare certification or licensure
