Job description

Job Summary

The individual should have a good working knowledge and understanding of the biosimilars market and support complex projects charged with successful completion of tasks required to support the biopharma division. Creates integrated project plans and schedules, drives identification and mitigation of project risks, performs ongoing project monitoring and ensures adequate dissemination of information to project stakeholders. Responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced start-up environment. The incumbent is expected to work with cross-functional teams across Global and US Marketing, Market Access, Sales, Medical Affairs, Finance, Commercial Excellence, and more.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 per year
Position is eligible to participate in a bonus plan with a target of 10% of the base salary. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of any assigned strategic development project(s); inclusive of direct shipping contracts for strategic customers and reporting of all financial benefits and KPIs related to these project(s).
  • Design and manage projects for all KPI & analytical reporting via Qlik (Power BI) steams and applications for the biopharma team and build a strong cross-functional relationship with commercial excellence business partners to help prioritize the needs of the biopharma.
  • Manage complex projects related to both medical and pharmacy benefit dispense biosimilars across various therapeutic areas including immunology, oncology, etc.
  • Assist and drive the project and workstream to develop an innovative 340B strategy related to contract pharmacies that includes revamping of system transactions withing Model N. Document the government regulation and policies that help define and shape the innovative 340B policy. Work cross functionally with 3rd parties and build strong relationships as needed to assist in this project.
  • Define the scope of work for each new project, clearly identify tasks and responsibilities for all project team members and establish target completion dates for key project milestones.  Interface with department managers and senior management to facilitate allocation and prioritization of resources necessary to achieve key project milestones within established timelines.  Administer the time tracking tool to ensure proper capacity planning and actuals reporting of project resources for assigned projects.
  • Maintain and routinely update biopharma leadership and necessary teams of status and KPIs of ongoing projects or strategic development opportunities.
  • Identify and resolve emerging risks / issues that may impact project, department or regional goals. Recognize potential threats to project success and elevate issues to department management when necessary.
  • Conduct lessons learned and project close-out sessions to obtain information that can be used to improve future projects. Contribute & develop biopharma project management knowledgebase through development and revision of project management tools and templates.
  • Manage project budgets and participate in quarterly forecasting and budgeting exercises.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a finance/accounting field required. MBA preferred.

  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical work experience with 3+ years managing a portfolio of projects in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Strong ability to think analytically, execute to a goal/vision, influence, problem solve, and impact/drive change in a heavily matrixed global environment.

  • Demonstrates independence and must be self-driven.

  • Work with cross functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.

  • Must be able to think innovatively and strategically and have a desire for learning.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Power Point, SAP, Qlik, and TM1.

  • Ability to travel, including international travel.
