Job description

HYDAC is a family-owned and operated business with a vibrant and rewarding working environment for our employees across the country. Our goal is to provide quality products, components and services that meet our customer expectations while being committed to the protection and preservation of our environment. HYDAC's passionate team designs and manufactures a comprehensive line of innovative and reliable solutions optimized for any demand our customers require.
The Project Manager will lead growth and optimization initiatives that support scalable, complex system development from concept through production release. This role is accountable for planning and executing cross-functional projects by organizing scope, timelines, resources, and people across the organization. Projects span early concept development, sample creation, validation, and transition into standard production, with a strong focus on system integration and long-term business growth.
You will make an impact in this role by:
  • Lead complex, cross-functional system projects from inception through production launch, ensuring alignment with growth, cost, and operational objectives.
  • Own project plans, schedules, and milestones; proactively manage risks, dependencies, and resource constraints to keep projects on track.
  • Maintain a holistic, end-to-end view of each project, anticipating downstream impacts to manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customers.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and timely execution across engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and external partners.
  • Develop, track, and report project and customer-related metrics, including schedule performance, cost targets, and deliverables.
  • Exercise sound judgment and decision-making in dynamic environments, balancing speed, risk, and quality.
  • Support continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as required to support organizational goals.

Key skills and attributes include:
  • Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and timelines within complex project environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership in coordinating and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Above-average verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey project status and risks to diverse stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing, quality systems, and process capabilities within a new product development environment.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Gantt Charts, risk management and resource scheduling.

Requirements
To be considered for the Project Manager role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management or Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years practical experience within the organization.

Salary range $110,000 - $140,000 / year plus an annual bonus.
