Job description

Job Description:
Technical Project Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead a large-scale global deployment initiative. This is a true deployment project, not a traditional program management role. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating technical infrastructure deployments involving connected devices, IoT technologies, data integrations, APIs, networking, and deployment readiness activities across multiple countries and time zones. The role requires a highly technical project manager who can effectively partner with engineering teams, communicate with executive stakeholders, and manage complex global deployment schedules in a highly visible, customer-facing position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end execution of a global deployment program spanning multiple customer locations and geographic regions.
  • Create and maintain integrated project plans, deployment schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities.
  • Drive project governance, status reporting, risk management, and RAID log management.
  • Coordinate activities across internal technical teams, customer technical teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Serve as a primary customer-facing representative, facilitating project discussions with technical, operational, and leadership teams.
  • Understand technical discussions sufficiently to translate requirements, risks, and decisions among stakeholders.
  • Support the deployment of industrial connectivity solutions, network infrastructure, IoT communications, and data collection platforms.
  • Maintain flexibility in working hours to support international teams and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of project management experience leading complex, large-scale technology deployment initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing global projects spanning multiple countries and time zones.
  • Proven track record managing infrastructure, networking, systems integration, or technology deployment initiatives for enterprise-scale deployments.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure deployment methodologies, networking concepts, IoT technologies, APIs, integrations, and connected device ecosystems.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and customer-facing programs.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong executive presence and customer-facing professionalism.
  • Ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups, manage competing priorities, and drive alignment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • B.S. Degree or higher.
  • Background as a former Engineer who moved into Project Management or a background in Network Engineering.
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Industrial IoT (IIoT), or Operational Technology (OT) environments.
  • Experience managing projects involving network migrations, connectivity solutions, or cloud-based data integrations.
  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certifications.
