Job description

Job Description

Position Overview

As a SCADA Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the planning, implementation, and successful SCADA integrations of new clean and renewable energy assets into our large operating fleet across North America, Latin America, and Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the pipeline of SCADA projects through integration and into operations.
  • Maintain awareness of project schedules and milestone dates leading up to the operational integration phase.
  • Conduct project assessments to determine scope, objectives, and resource requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, defining deliverables, timelines, milestones, and critical success factors. Proactively identify and address potential project risks and issues to maintain project momentum.
  • Manage operational project initiatives to improve and modernize the infrastructure supporting the fleet of generation assets.
  • Work with SCADA engineers, external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate project activities, resolve conflicts, and manage expectations. Ensure seamless communication between all parties involved in the project.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, status updates, diagrams, and division-of-responsibility matrices. Present project status and performance metrics to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members.
  • Perform other duties assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years managing complex projects from inception to completion in an industrial or utility environment
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Solid project management skills, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and budget control
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify, solve and communicate complex problems
  • Strong technical background and understanding of SCADA systems, PLCs, RTUs, and communication protocols
  • Experience working with project/task management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana)
  • Experience creating drawings/diagrams to document and convey technical information (e.g., Microsoft Visio, AutoCAD)
  • Certification in project management (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., NERC CIP)

Base Pay

$105,000.00 - $130,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 10% - 25%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
