Security Integration Project Manager – Lead Low-Voltage & AV Projects for JD Audio & Video Design Inc.


Job Overview

  • Salary/Pay Rate: $120,000 – $125,000 per year base (potential additional pay for NJ and NY security licenses).

The Opportunity

You will serve as a vital operational leader, orchestrating complex integrated security and low-voltage systems from kickoff through successful client hand-off. This role empowers you to drive project excellence while mentoring field technicians within an elite integration environment. How You Will Make an Impact

  • Coordinate security, access control, CCTV, networking, and AV projects from initial kickoff through final closeout.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, task lists, and installation timelines to maintain strict project milestones.
  • Review technical project drawings, scopes of work, and RFIs to ensure accurate system layouts and expectations.
  • Support field technicians and subcontractors on-site to quickly resolve technical conflicts and prevent installation delays.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact to ensure seamless communication between clients, vendors, and engineering teams.
  • Manage final testing, client training, punch list resolution, and the delivery of complete closeout packages.
  • Promote a culture of safety, clean workmanship, and adherence to top-tier company installation standards.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in security, low-voltage integration, AV, or project coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of security systems, access control, CCTV, burglar alarm, and networking technologies.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret detailed AutoCAD drawings, scopes of work, and technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple project schedules, field teams, vendors, and client communications simultaneously.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Manufacturer certifications, active security licensing, or formal project management training.
  • Proficiency with D-Tools, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and specialized project management software.
  • Demonstrated experience in mentorship or training junior field technicians in an integration environment.
