Job Summary:
The Strategic Test Integration Manager serves as American Rheinmetallโ€™s senior representative supporting the XM30 program at Aberdeen Test Center (ATC). This strategic position provides program-level leadership for developmental testing, builds trusted relationships with Government stakeholders, and ensures effective coordination between American Rheinmetall, the U.S. Army, and ATC. The role focuses on proactively managing test execution, resolving issues, influencing collaboration, and maintaining a consistent program narrative throughout all phases of testing.
Position will be located onsite in Aberdeen, MD.
Essential Functions:
  • Lead American Rheinmetall's day-to-day strategic engagement with Aberdeen Test Center.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with ATC leadership, test officers, government program offices, and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate developmental test planning, execution, issue resolution, and reporting for the XM30 program.
  • Manage communications between engineering, program management, logistics, and Government test organizations.
  • Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect test schedule and objectives.
  • Advise program leadership on Government test processes, expectations, and best practices.
  • Represent the company during test planning meetings, test readiness reviews, and execution events.
  • Monitor test progress and communicate impacts to cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Support development of executive briefings and after-action reports.
  • Travel as required to Government test facilities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No direct reports. May lead cross-functional teams and coordinate Government and contractor personnel.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive experience planning and executing U.S. Government developmental and operational testing.
  • Working knowledge of Army acquisition and test processes.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
Education amp; Experience
Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 15 years supporting DoD acquisition programs, including significant Government test experience.
Background Prerequisites:
Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain suitability requirements for access to classified information.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience at Aberdeen Test Center.
  • Experience supporting the XM30, OMFV, Bradley, AMPV or other ground combat vehicle programs.
  • Experience serving in a Government test organization or Program Executive Office.
  • PMP certification or DAWIA certification.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
  • Office and Government test environment. Frequent walking through test facilities and vehicle integration areas. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Travel to Government test sites as required.
