Job Description:

As the premier provider of Space Domain Awareness (SDA) mission solutions for the United States Space Force, L3Harris is seeking a mid-level Integration and Test Engineer to perform Software Systems Integration and System Test functions related to the MOSSAIC C2 Space Domain Awareness (SDA) mission. The ideal candidate will have some experience in Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) activities such as Requirements Development/Derivation, Test Documentation (Plans, Procedures, Reports), Test Execution, System Troubleshooting, and Defect Tracking and Resolution.

Essential Functions:

Execute and assist in developing detailed test plans, procedures and cases based on system requirements
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track defects through to resolution
Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software performance/functionality meets the high standards required for L3Harris operations
Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Software Engineers and senior Integration & Test Engineers to identify system requirements for Validation & Verification
Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, test methodology and potential problems
Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes in collaboration with the development and test teams
Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including System Models based in SysML

Qualifications:

Must have an active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI access within 6 months of hire
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
Active Security+ CE certification
Basic knowledge of the Space Domain Awareness enterprise and engineering efforts
Familiarity with MBSE/Eggplant and similar testing tools as well as DoW testing requirements
Familiarity with Jira/Confluence (or equivalent)
Experience in Scaled Agile Framework & DevSecOps methodology
Java and C++ application software testing
Proficiency in Linux
Proficiency in Test Automation software

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Virginia (Greater D.C. area) is $88,500-$164,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
