Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Systems Analyst in Durham, NC.
Responsibilities:
* Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements to support Benefits technology initiatives and platform enhancements
* Translate complex business needs into detailed requirements, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and implementation documentation
* Partner with business stakeholders, engineering teams, product leadership, and vendors to define and implement technology solutions
* Lead planning and coordination activities, including scope definition, dependency management, risk identification, milestone tracking, and release readiness
* Support vendor implementations by coordinating eligibility file requirements, certificates, data validation, integration testing, and implementation activities
* Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder meetings, and cross-functional discussions to align priorities and delivery objectives
* Analyze current-state processes, identify gaps, and recommend process and technology improvements that increase efficiency and reduce risk
* Support system integrations, APIs, data exchanges, and vendor-hosted solutions to ensure reliable and compliant operations
* Monitor project progress, manage issues and dependencies, and provide regular updates to stakeholders and delivery teams
* Ensure solutions, documentation, data processes, and vendor integrations comply with security, privacy, regulatory, and records retention requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise technology platforms
* Proven experience leading requirements gathering, solution analysis, and delivery coordination for complex initiatives
* Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and project delivery practices
* Experience working with Benefits, HR, Corporate Services, Compliance, Risk, or vendor management organizations
* Experience supporting SaaS platforms, third-party vendor solutions, and enterprise system integrations
* Ability to create detailed business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation
* Knowledge of API integrations, cloud-based platforms, data flows, and system-to-system interfaces
* Understanding of data privacy, security, records retention, and regulatory requirements related to enterprise systems and data management
* Experience supporting vendor implementations, eligibility files, certificate management, data validation, and operational readiness activities
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate dependencies, and deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
