Job description

Kharma Care LLC.’s mission is to provide quality integrated childcare, respite care, and resource identification for families caring for children with different abilities. Every family has unique needs, and our mission is to provide adequate support, so our children and families have the best quality of life.

Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily activities and lessons for children in a daycare, toddler care, or preschool setting.
- Provide support and care for children with special needs, including those with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
- Assist in behavior management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide supervision and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and promoting healthy eating habits.
- Support children's social-emotional development through positive interactions and guidance.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in early childhood education or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a daycare, toddler care, or preschool setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Familiarity with working with children with special needs, including autism or other developmental disabilities.
