The Certified Nurse Aide is responsible for assisting the Registered Nurse with clinical duties and administrative tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clinical Duties:
  • Preparing patients for examinations
  • Rounding on inpatients
  • Assisting patients with ADLs as needed
  • Assisting the RN with vital signs and treatments
  • Assisting with cleaning patient beds/rooms for rapid turnover
  • Assisting with after hours maintenance of kitchen
  • Accurate documentation in EMR

Administrative Duties:
  • Using computer applications
  • Answering telephones
  • Answering door
  • Welcoming patients
  • Updating patient medical records
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Updating accountability program (REACH)

Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and Certified Nurse Aide certification from Indiana required.
  • Current CPR certification
