Job description

Sodexo is hiring a Solution Designer II to drive growth by creating client-focused solutions that balance customer needs, operational excellence, and profitability while partnering with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other teams.

Preferred experience supporting healthcare food service operations, understanding workflows, identifying business needs, and translating them into effective technology and process solutions.

About the job

The Solution Designer II is responsible for developing client-focused, competitive solution strategies that support Sodexo North America's commercial growth objectives within their designated services focus (e.g. food SME, EVS SME, FM (hard and/or soft) SME, Office Services SME etc.. This role partners with Sales, Operations, Commercial Finance, and other cross-functional teams to design innovative either food, environmental services, integrated facilities management, and support service solutions that align with client needs and operational capabilities. The position supports solution leaders to build the winning solutions for cross-segment and segment specific opportunities, including new business pursuits, renewals, and strategic deals, while ensuring financial, operational, and service excellence standards are achieved.

The role of an individual contributor within the organization focuses on completing specific tasks and projects; contributing directly through their skills and expertise. Performs specialized technical tasks to support operations. Work is primarily achieved independently, however may collaborate with a team.

Pay Range: $100130 - $115540

Incentive Eligibility: Eligible to participate in Sodexo's incentive plan and earn variable compensation in addition to base salary

What you'll bring 

  • Demonstrated track record of contributing to improved win rates, pricing discipline, and profitable growth through high quality solution design and proposal support.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate across various levels, and with the ability to present complex technical solutions and business cases to senior internal stakeholders and client decision makers.
  • Experience operating in an environment with formal commercial governance, deal review processes, and cross functional collaboration among Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and GBS.
  • Experience with large, multi-segment enterprise (e.g. healthcare, education, corporate services, seniors, sports & leisure) with exposure to complex, multi-site or multi-service deals.
  • Demonstrated track record of contributing to improved win rates, pricing discipline, and profitable growth through high quality solution design and proposal support.
  • Experience working closely project teams, commercial leaders (e.g., VP, Solution Design, Sales VPs, Operations VPs) to translate growth strategies into executable solution roadmaps and playbooks.
  • Advanced proficiency with solution design and proposal tools (e.g., design software, estimating tools, proposal platforms) and familiarity with CRM/pipeline systems such as Salesforce.
