Job description

Bucklin Tractor & Implement Co. (BTI) is looking for a highly motivated Integrated Solutions Specialist to join our team. An Integrated Solutions Specialists primary responsibility is to collaborate and work alongside the sales department; work in an efficient manner and coordinate activities with other Integrated Solutions Specialists; solicit sales opportunities and report them to sales; maintain an excellent standard of customer service; maintain and repair equipment, as needed; maintain inventory.

BTI is a premier agriculture and farm equipment dealership serving central and western Kansas. Since 1944, BTI has valued the opportunity to create long-term relationships with our customers by giving them the best customer service available.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex on-site diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment with focus on established and new John Deere AMS technologies.
  • Be willing to travel to any BTI customer inside or outside our area of responsibility.
  • Review and explain, technology, maintenance, repair, or other service concerns directly with the customer and document to work orders
  • Promote and sell dealer service programs directly to customers.
  • Complete reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
  • Implement effective stocking processes with Parts department to maintain proper seasonal part inventory for common repairs.
  • Maintain condition of mobile service vehicle, inventory, tools and equipment.
  • Follow safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
  • Account for all time and material used in performing assigned duties
  • Complete John Deere training courses and other continuing education classes, as assigned.
  • Disseminate information learned to other BTI employees. Be willing to give presentations at internal and customer meetings.

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

  • 3+ years of agricultural experience, preferably John Deere experience
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to perform complex repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
  • Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
  • Ability to use Service Advisor and perform basic computer functions
  • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
  • Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required; associates degree preferred
  • Valid driver’s license is required; CDL and forklift license preferred
