The Director of Sales - Food Integrated Solutions drives revenue growth and expands market share across the food industry by selling integrated capital equipment and engineered solutions. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution and focuses on building a high-performing sales organization.
This leader owns complex, consultative sales efforts with food manufacturers and ensures the team delivers turnkey, integrated solutions. The Director translates business strategy into actionable sales plans, drives consistent execution, and builds strong customer partnerships that result in predictable growth.
This role reports to the Vice President, Sales and supports ProMach Integrated Solutions and Zarpac Canada integration divisions.
What You Will Do

Lead and Develop the Sales Organization

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals focused on the Food market

  • Set performance expectations and drive accountability to revenue and pipeline targets

  • Partner with leadership and HR to hire, onboard, and build a high-performing sales team

  • Create a culture of ownership, collaboration, and results

Drive Revenue Growth and Market Expansion

  • Expand the North American customer base in the Food market

  • Develop and execute market-driven sales strategies aligned to business goals

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline with clear focus on target segments

  • Identify and prioritize key growth accounts that provide sustainable revenue

Lead Complex Sales and Customer Engagement

  • Lead large, consultative sales opportunities with food manufacturers

  • Serve as primary point of contact for key accounts and strategic opportunities

  • Engage stakeholders across plant operations, engineering, procurement, and executive teams

  • Negotiate and close high-value deals while protecting margin

Deliver Integrated Solutions

  • Partner with engineering, operations, and service teams to deliver turnkey systems

  • Lead development of differentiated sales strategies and customer presentations

  • Align solutions to customer needs including throughput, food safety, and efficiency

  • Support solution design, justification, and ROI development

Strengthen Enterprise Collaboration and Brand Presence

  • Promote cross-selling across ProMach products, services, and capabilities

  • Develop strong relationships with customers, partners, and trade organizations

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and association meetings

Drive Planning and Performance Management

  • Contribute to sales forecasting and drive forecast accuracy

  • Support development of sales and marketing operating budgets

  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategy to improve results

What You Bring
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B capital equipment sales and system integration in the food market

  • Proven success leading sales teams in food processing, packaging, or manufacturing

  • Strong track record of driving revenue growth and building customer relationships

  • Experience managing pricing strategy and protecting margin

  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline

  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Working knowledge of system design concepts, including AutoCAD

  • Experience building business cases with ROI and payback analysis

  • High level of accountability, adaptability, and emotional intelligence

  • Willingness to travel extensively across North America
