Job description

We are seeking a dynamic Practice Solutions Manager with a strong background in solution management, innovation, and legal technology. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and problem-solver who thrives on tackling complex challenges, shaping integrated solutions, and driving meaningful improvements in attorney workflows and client value.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with practice leadership to uncover pain points and operational inefficiencies, then design and implement impactful solutions that draw on internal capabilities, external partnerships, and cutting-edge legal and generative AI technologies. You will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of solution development- from discovery and design through to agile delivery-ensuring our legal teams are equipped to meet the evolving needs of the firm and its clients.
Research and Strategy
  • Facilitate exploratory meetings and user research with internal stakeholders, attorneys, clients, and SMEs to identify business challenges and inefficiencies that require strategic solutioning.
  • Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from diverse sources (e.g., user interviews, usage analytics, market research, industry reports) to inform strategic decision making and solution design.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to practice leadership, providing insights on transformation opportunities.

Solution Design & Agile Development
  • Partner with practice leadership to translate strategic goals into actionable business capabilities, roadmaps and detailed plans.
  • Design and develop scalable solutions, leveraging AI capabilities to streamline end-to-end processes, reduce complexity and improve efficiency.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide thoughtful updates throughout project lifecycles.
  • Define measurement/ROI/KPI's and ensure that the delivered initiatives are capturing the desired business value.
  • Act as the accountable leader for the solution initiative including playing the single point of contact across various functions and Practices within the Firm to deliver value.

AI Engagement and Support
  • Identify and validate pain points and map them to viable AI-driven use cases, particularly where AI support could improve efficiency, clarity or speed of execution.
  • Identify, evaluate, and advocate for innovative, AI-based legal technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and client service.
  • Assist practice groups in adopting AI-enabled workflows through proactive outreach and hands-on support.
  • Serve as a dedicated resource for attorneys seeking AI solution support, offering responsive, high-touch assistance with prompt design, refinement, and execution tailored to practice-specific tasks.
  • Prepare and deliver technology presentations and trainings related to creative and practical uses for AI.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Drive collaboration across departments to resolve divergent goals and implement viable solutions for your practice group(s).
  • Communicate solution strategy and progress with radical clarity to all stakeholders.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree - required
  • JD preferred

Skills and Experience
  • 7+ years' experience in Product Management, Solution Management or Innovation-focused roles.
  • Direct experience in a law firm environment, as a practicing attorney or experience with legal technology preferred.
  • Proficiency in tools for product management (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Miro, Dovetail).
  • Experience managing the product lifecycle from ideation through launch to iterative improvement, especially for AI-powered solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to apply Design Thinking principles to product discovery, prioritization and solutioning.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to make effective presentations to small and/or large groups of internal and external participants.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with others in a cooperative and collaborative manner.
  • Ability to provide excellent quality client service to both internal and external contacts.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and capable of producing quality written communications such as presentations, spreadsheets, slides and other standard work documents.
  • Strong appetite and aptitude to learn new technologies, develop innovative solutions and deliver compelling messaging.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new software programs and tools.
  • Sound judgment with respect to confidential and sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization and work effectively both independently and with others in a cooperative, enthusiastic and friendly manner to accomplish position functions and participate in team efforts.

Salary Information
NY Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $190,000 to $220,000 at the time of posting.
The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
