Plumbing Engineering Manager – Irving, TX – Job Profile


Salas O’Brien is an employee-owned engineering and professional services firm focused on achieving impact for our clients, our team, and the world. We work across a variety of industries providing integrated engineering and consulting services. Our specialized experience includes design for data centers, healthcare, science and technology, high-rise buildings, clean energy, education, and other building types.


Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Plumbing Engineering Manager to join our growing Irving, TX based team. In this role you will focus on plumbing design solutions for a wide range of projects, including hotels, apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, and educational facilities using Revit.


In this role, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality plumbing engineering solutions across all phases of design and execution
  • Provide strategic direction to PMs, engineers, and designers, ensuring deliverables address risk, innovation, and long-term performance
  • Lead complex plumbing engineering efforts, including detailed site assessments, system evaluations, and design execution
  • Drive construction administration efforts, ensuring seamless execution from design through delivery
  • Lead onsite evaluations to capture, assess, and document existing conditions with precision
  • Attract, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of plumbing engineers and designers


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years’ experience engineering and managing plumbing systems projects from start to finish for the built environment
  • Strong Revit expertise to bring innovative design ideas to life
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or higher in an Engineering field
  • Registered Professional Engineer Preferred
  • CPD Certification, a plus


Location: Irving, TX (Onsite)
