Job Description Summary
The Senior IBP Lead plays a strategic, enterprise-level role within the Global Planning Center of Excellence, enabling Integrated Business Planning (IBP) through advanced analytics, scenario modeling, and decision support. This role serves as an insight originator and plan evaluator, synthesizing demand, supply, capacity, and financial data into forward-looking, decision-ready insights. It partners closely with Global IBP leadership to enhance decision quality, speed, and alignment, without owning the end-to-end process. Leveraging AI-enabled forecasting, predictive analytics, and external market sensing, the role integrates internal and external signals to anticipate disruptions, quantify risk, and translate uncertainty into actionable, scenario-based strategic recommendations.
Job Description
Strategic IBP Enablement & Integration
  • Partner with Global S&OP leadership to enable and continuously improve IBP capabilities, outputs, and decision frameworks
  • Integrate demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial data into holistic, enterprise-wide planning views
  • Act as a plan evaluator, challenging assumptions and validating feasibility, trade-offs, and business impact
  • Ensure alignment of planning assumptions and outputs across regions and functions

Advanced Scenario Planning & Predictive Insights
  • Design and lead multi-scenario planning analyses incorporating both internal and external drivers
  • Apply AI-enabled forecasting, predictive modeling, and external economic sensing to anticipate risks and opportunities
  • Translate complex analytics into clear decision options, business impacts, and recommendations
  • Develop leading indicators and early warning signals to improve planning responsiveness and forecast accuracy

Executive Decision Support & Storytelling
  • Lead development of insight-driven content and scenarios for IBP forums
  • Frame and quantify trade-offs across service, cost, inventory, and growth objectives
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives tailored to executive audiences
  • Act as a thought partner to senior leadership, improving the quality and speed of decision-making

Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration
  • Act as a central integrator across Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, and Operations
  • Facilitate alignment on assumptions, risks, and priorities across the enterprise
  • Orchestrate inputs and perspectives to support cohesive, data-driven decision-making
  • Build strong relationships to influence outcomes without direct authority
  • Champion adoption of advanced planning capabilities, analytics, and AI-driven insights

Risk Management & Resilience
  • Identify, quantify, and communicate enterprise risks across demand, supply, inventory, and financial dimensions
  • Develop and evaluate mitigation strategies and scenario-based contingency plans
  • Establish risk monitoring frameworks and proactive alert mechanisms
  • Enable a risk-aware, forward-looking planning culture

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Finance, or related field required
  • Advanced degree (MBA or MS Supply Chain/Analytics) a plus
  • IBP / S&OP training or certifications (ASCM, Oliver Wight) strongly preferred

Skills and Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, S&OP, IBP, or analytical planning roles
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and enterprise decisions
  • Experience with advanced planning systems, forecasting models, and scenario tools
  • Experience operating in complex, global, cross-functional environments

  • Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
