The Opportunity

Field Service Technician with an electrical background to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment at customer sites. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently in the field, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

What you will do?

  • Perform installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and controls at customer locations.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to diagnose issues and determine corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve service needs while providing clear communication and technical support.
  • Complete service reports, documentation, and work orders accurately and on time.
  • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in proper working condition.
  • Provide on-call and emergency service support as required.
  • Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in Electrical Technology preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or field service.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, controls, power distribution, and automation.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites.
  • OSHA or other safety certifications are a plus.
  • Field-based role with frequent travel to customer sites.
  • Requires the ability to work in industrial, manufacturing, and outdoor environments.
  • May require overtime, weekend, or on-call support depending on customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or field service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in Electrical Technology preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites.
  • OSHA or other safety certifications are a plus.
