Intake Registered Nurse

Under the direction of the Nursing Manager and/or the DON, and Director of Intake the Intake Registered Nurse will provide clinical care as prescribed by the Department of Nursing, internal and external regulatory bodies, and standards of nursing practice. Maintains adherence to internal hospital policies, procedures, external regulatory, governmental agencies, and the Mental Health Nursing Standards of Practice.

Qualifications:

  • Current license to practice nursing in Illinois (or eligible to receive or renew).
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
  • Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-65yrs+.
