Purpose

Aldridge Pite LLP has an immediate need for a Bankruptcy Intake Processor. This position will be responsible for opening and reviewing high volumes of new Legal Referrals from multiple clients.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

โ€ข Open new Legal Referrals in Aldridge Pite, LLPโ€™s internal case management software

โ€ข Download all corresponding documents from client systems and PACER

โ€ข Review referrals for all necessary information and documents according to client/court/judge requirements in order to proceed with the file

โ€ข Request and follow-up on any missing information or documents necessary to proceed with the file

โ€ข Forward complete files to appropriate department/attorney to ensure appropriate and timely handling of file

โ€ข Assist with additional projects as needed

Job Requirements

โ€ข High school diploma

โ€ข Prior Bankruptcy experience preferred but not required

โ€ข Self motivated and able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment

โ€ข Be able to open and review high volumes of new referrals effectively and accurately

โ€ข Must have the ability to communicate with coworkers, attorneys and other staff members regarding files

โ€ข Must have ability to interpret client systems.

โ€ข Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet

โ€ข Must be organized and multi-task oriented

โ€ข Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
