The ideal candidate must have previous jewellery sales and/or repair intake experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to confidently communicate the  value of fine jewellery, repairs and custom services. This role combines sales excellence with the precision and accountability required to manage customer repairs from intake through completion. Sales & Customer Responsibilities * Deliver an exceptional customer experience through professional, friendly, knowledgeable service. * Build lasting relationships with customers and help them celebrate life's special moments. * Develop and maintain strong knowledge of jewellery, watches, brands and services. * Effectively communicate the value and quality behind our products and services. * Meet and exceed individual and team goals. * Assist with merchandizing, inventory presentation, and maintaining a beautiful showroom environment. * Support special orders, custom products, and customer follow-up. Repair & Service Responsibilities * Conduct jewellery inspections and accurately document repair and service requests. * Receive and process jewellery and watch repairs with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Organize and track repairs throughout the repair service. * Communicate with customers regarding repair timelines, estimates, approvals, and completed work. * Ensure all repair records, customer information, and documentation are complete and accurate. * Work closely with management and repair coordinator to ensure excellent service outcomes.  * Maintain accountability for repair organization and workflow within the store. Team and Store Operations * Support daily store operations and administrative tasks. * Maintain organized workspaces and repair tracking systems. * Collaborate effectively with team members while also working independently when required. * Contribute positively to our team culture and uphold Harmony Jewellers' values. * Assist with inventory organization and general store presentation. Required Skills and Abilities * Previous jewellery sales experience and/or jewellery repair intake experience is required. * Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. * Proven customer service and relationship-building skills. * Strong sales abilities with a customer-focused approach. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.  * Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to accuracy. * Comfortable learning and retaining technical information related to jewellery, watches, and repairs. * Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling customer valuables. * Saturday availability is required. Additional Assets * Completion of jewellery-related education, certifications, or industry training programs. * Formal training in jewellery repair, bench jewellery work, gemology, diamond grading, or watch repair. * Completion of Canadian Jewellers Association (CJA) programs, JET courses. GIA coursework, or similar industry education. * Experience working in a jewellery store, luxury retail environment, or repair department. * Knowledge of jewellery materials, gemstones, manufacturing processes, and repair techniques.
