New hires may also need to quickly adapt to evolving technologies and digital tools used for claims processing and risk assessment. Collaboration across various departments—such as underwriting, claims, and customer service—requires strong communication skills and adaptability. To prepare, candidates should familiarize themselves with basic insurance concepts, practice effective time management, and be proactive in seeking support from colleagues during the onboarding process.
