Associate Staff Verification Engineer - Wireless

About the team

The IoT Digital Design team is a state-of-the-art IC design team focused on producing world class Wireless MCU SoCs. The architecture specification, design, verification, emulation, and implementation of the Wireless MCU SoCs is the responsibility of the IoT Digital team. These SoCs include an embedded CPU system with analog and digital peripherals, advanced security, advanced power management, and best in class radios to support a wide range of wireless IoT applications and standards. We strive to provide best in class technology solutions through innovation in custom RISC-V Cores and AI/ML components.

Responsibilities

  • Radio Datapath Verification for wireless protocols at Subsystem and SoC
    • Develop testbench for wireless data packet Tx/Rx, MAC-Radio interface, MAC-HOST interface, Low Power Modes, Security Interfaces with UVM and C
    • Develop Verification Plan, Coverage, Formal Vs Functional Strategies
    • Work and Develop with Real Number Models for Rf / Analog modelling
    • Use MATLAB models for Rf/Modem integrity checks
  • Flows and Methodology
    • Work with latest EDA and AI platforms to develop automation in radio/ mac / host / power architecture verification

Skills You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical and/or Computer Engineering
  • 3-8 years of experience.
  • Industry experience developing testbenches with SV-UVM and C
  • Scripting / Automation experience
  • Design/Verification skills
    • Software/Firmware coding (C)
    • UVM, System Verilog Assertion and coverage analysis
    • Low-power implementation (UPF)
    • Real Number Modeling (RNM, Spice)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Wireless Communication protocols - BLE/WIFI/Zigbee
  • Knowledge of Mixed Signal Real Number Modeling
  • UPF based low power verification

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $126,000 - $234,000 USD. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location where work will be performed and applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus, equity package and a comprehensive benefits package.
