Job description

Title: Business Analyst with Life Insurance domain

Location: Erie, PA Onsite from Day 1.

Duration: Long Term

Experience: 10+ Years

W2 role USC/GC/GC EAD/H4 EAD

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Insurance IT, Business teams and all the internal and external stakeholders involved in implementations and rollout to determine business requirements, and to ensure the development is in line with the requirements and scope.
  • Configure/ provide configuration of rating logic and business rules along with patterns of business logic
  • Document and articulate all functional, UI, and product requirements using standard methods
  • Understand the offerings and Products that will be implemented; understand what is currently available, supported and not supported and present the same
  • Perform functional testing of the solution to troubleshoot and identify the issues quickly, report to respective stakeholders and track to closure during development and before deployment.
  • Demonstrate the solution, discuss scope changes to determine the impact analysis; engage with UAT users to assist in completing the UAT
  • Provide detailed walkthroughs of the system requirement, closely work with technical associates on project development activities, review test cases and assist in closing QA cycle, and provide knowledge transfer to other team members.
  • Provide estimates for the activities; as part of change management inform the criticality, impact, risks, and priority. Provide timely walkthroughs of the work items documentation, configured products, solution; regularly update the complex and challenging scenarios.

  • Flexibility to adjust work timings and willingness to achieve stretched targets, when required.
  • Assertive and highly motivated and should be at ease with managing multiple tasks at any point in time. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience 8 to 10 years.
  • Experience and knowledge of Life Insurance domain and Products like Life Insurance.
  • Experience in implementing software solutions using established Insurance software products or customized software solutions.
  • Experience in implementing various business features and transactions: Policy Administration, Rating, Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance of various Life / General insurance products
