Responsibilities and Objectives:
  • Answer Inbound calls for prospects seeking new policies for personal lines insurance including auto, home, or umbrella insurance policies
  • Be able to convert prospects into active new customers and cross-sale other products
  • Advise clients regarding carrier insurance products and state insurance guidelines
  • Cross-sale a variety of products and recommend clients options optimized to their needs
  • Be an expert on product knowledge given during training and state insurance guidelines
  • Provide feedback and ideas on how to better internal processes to meet customer needs more effectively
  • Handle and resolve customer needs/complaints, determine cause of problem, expedite correction and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Focus on 100% dedication to taking care of customers from beginning to end, going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Increase customer utilized products by providing policy gaps and/or missing lines of business (cross selling and up-selling)
  • Show a dedication to handling cancellation requests with a focus on retaining business
  • Meticulously maintain a customer database
  • Identify situations that require follow-up to prevent future call-backs, dissatisfaction, or impact to customer retention
Qualifications:
  • 1+ Years of Personal Lines Insurance Experience
  • Resident Personal Lines Insurance License a must
  • Bilingual a strongly preferred
  • Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
  • Applicants may be subject to background check
  • Strong Work Ethic
  • Strong Internal Communication skills
  • Ability to handle high sales volume calls while maintaining professional outlook
  • Desire to grow one’s individual sales skillset
  • Propensity to work with others and come up with new ideas
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently via text, email, and voice
Preferred Qualification:
  • Prior remote experience preferred
  • Active L amp;H License not required but a bonus
  • Industry designations such as: CIC, CISR
  • Experience using VOIP dialers, CRM, and agency management tools
  • Experience with Auto and Home Insurance Sales
  • Proven track record of sales growth
  • Strong Personal Insurance circle of influence (large network of financial industries such as: real estate, lenders, banking etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
