About The Role

HUB International is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Senior Commercial Insurance Producer to join our Ontario Commercial Lines team.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced producer with an established commercial book of business and a strong network within the Ontario market. You'll play a key role in driving profitable growth by developing new client relationships, delivering strategic risk solutions, and expanding long-term partnerships with mid-market businesses.

Backed by a collaborative team of Account Managers, technical specialists, and carrier partners, you'll have the resources and support needed to focus on business development and client success.

What You'll Do
  • Develop, manage, and grow a profitable portfolio of mid-market commercial clients.
  • Drive new business opportunities through existing relationships, referrals, networking, and market development activities.
  • Deliver tailored insurance and risk management solutions across commercial P&C and specialty lines.
  • Build trusted relationships with business owners, executives, and key decision-makers.
  • Lead strategic client discussions related to coverage, renewals, emerging risks, and long-term insurance planning.
  • Collaborate with internal service teams and specialists to provide an exceptional client experience and identify cross-selling opportunities.

  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to independently prospect, develop pipelines, and close complex commercial accounts.
  • Proven ability to develop trusted advisor relationships with business owners, executives, and key decision-makers.
  • Deep understanding of commercial P&C coverages, risk management strategies, and underwriting principles across multiple industries.
  • Experience structuring sophisticated insurance solutions involving multiple lines of coverage and carrier markets.
  • Strong market presence with the credibility and professionalism to represent HUB within the Ontario business community.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with carriers and underwriting partners to achieve optimal client outcomes.
  • RIBO licensed and in good standing.
