Job description

Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) is seeking a Client Partner/Strategic Account Executive to join the Sales & Marketing team. In this role you will lead solutions and/or delivery of consulting service engagements aimed at achieving business plan outcomes for new client acquisitions within the Business Resilience market. You will be a subject matter expert in one or more industries. In this role you will join a growing team in creating and marketing client-focused service propositions nationwide through both direct (B2B) and partnership (B2B2B) distribution channels. Expected travel is 30-50%.

  • Actively manage daily work to achieve delivery of own sales and business performance targets.
  • Sells technical products, services, installations, and configurations to potential new clients for specific technical product and/or application of product.
  • Provides interface between potential new client and risk engineering representatives.
  • Researches client technical specifications and requirements with current or potential technical specifications of company products and services.
  • Build, develop and maintain profitable relationships to promote ZRSโ€™s propositions including negotiation, new offer and closures and terminations where required.
  • Evaluate strategy to maximize new client acquisitions, and profit for ZRS.
  • Oversee the development of sales pipelines and ensure accurate and timely updates to the CRM database throughout the sales cycle.
  • Prepares and conduct sales briefings for potential new client and company representatives.
  • Develop potential technical specifications, pricing considerations and contract requirements for new client acquisition.
  • Provide advice that enables a potential client to solve a problem or improve business.
  • Anticipate potential client needs, monitor trends in order to recommend changes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Sales area
    OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Sales area
    OR
  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Sales area

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Insurance industry and/or physical risk consulting experience.
  • Proven track record in sales across direct B2B channels in the US, with ideally some experience in partnership/affinity distribution.
  • Strong consultative sales solutions experience.
  • Experience within a consulting firm.
  • Governance, risk and compliance consulting experience.
  • Ability to influence C-Suite executives.
  • Experience working in a โ€œscale-upโ€ business environment with ambitious growth plans.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with influential management abilities.
  • Experience within a risk organization with knowledge in risk assessment, thought leadership, and delivering risk insights.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. This position includes a variable component that is based on an individual's performance under the applicable sales incentive plan. The annual base plus variable total compensation range, based on performance under the sales incentive plan for this role, is between $240,000 to $288,000.ย
