What You Will Be Doing

 

As an Account Executive, Exteriors & Roofing, you will drive revenue growth by managing and developing client accounts focused on exterior renovation and roofing projects. You will market Renu's services to Property Managers, Asset Managers, Owner/Operators, and General Contractors. This role includes a mix of office work and field engagement, including client site visits, estimating support, and attending industry events. Expect 30% or more travel to client locations nationwide.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring projects meet client objectives and expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for exterior and roofing projects; develop proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals.
  • Apply expertise in roofing and exterior construction materials and methods to consult with clients and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, estimating, operations, and project management-to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Represent Renu at tradeshows, golf tournaments, luncheons, and other events.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, and opportunities in our CRM.
  • Work with third-party vendors to negotiate competitive national pricing for exterior and roofing projects.
  • Collect and analyze client and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and evolving needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements 

  • 3-4 years in executive sales, account management, or business development; experience in roofing, exterior construction, or commercial renovation preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of roofing and exterior construction materials and methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Smartsheet preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Reliable transportation required; U.S. travel required (15-30% overnight travel).
