Job description

Position Summary
The Advisor Relationship Manager (ARM) serves as a trusted liaison and a strategic partner
for advisors, clients, custodians, and internal teams, driving an exceptional service model
across all aspects of the business. This role is responsible for fostering advisor engagement,
strengthening key relationships, and ensuring a best-in-class client experience through
operational excellence and strategic problem-solving.
The ARM is a subject matter expert, supporting advisors with complex requests. Success in
this role requires a high-energy, go-getter mindset, adaptability, and a passion for delivering
excellent client service in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management & Client Experience:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for advisors and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key advisors, centers of influence,
and business partners while delivering a highly personalized service experience.
- Manage complex, high-impact, and escalated advisor inquiries with
professionalism and urgency.
- Approach every advisor interaction holistically, maintaining awareness of all
related matters and coordinate with internal teams and external business partners
to deliver a seamless experience.
-Creative problem solving to minimize friction, disruptions, and process delays.
- Lead collaboration with cross-functional business partners to proactively identify,
address, and resolve advisor and client challenges.
- Operate independently with discretion and decision-making authority while
serving as a resource to peers and leadership.
Operational Support:
- Provide advanced expertise across brokerage and advisory and general
operational functions.
- Oversee and support complex money movement and trading transactions such as distributions, wires, ACH, transfers, and trade-related requests.
- Guide advisors through complex operational processes, firm policies, and
regulatory requirements.
- Lead advisor training and adoption of firm systems, technology, and service
resources.
- Serve as a primary liaison with custodians, clearing firms, and strategic partners to facilitate efficient issue resolution and service delivery.
- Review and resolve complex NIGOs and operational exceptions while ensuring
clear communication and timely outcomes.
-Identify and mitigate operational risks while maintaining compliance with firm
policies and industry regulations.
Strategic Process Improvement:
-Identify continuous process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency,
scalability, and advisor satisfaction.
- Support implementation of process improvements
-Participate in strategic projects and business initiatives to support organization
growth and transformation.
Performance:
- Maintain exceptional service quality and responsiveness while overseeing key
advisor relationships.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and effective
prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
-Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork by sharing knowledge, best practices, and operational expertise.
-Contribute to departmental goals, service metrics, and key performance indicators
while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent
industry experience.
- 5 years of progressive experience within broker-dealer, RIA, custodian, or clearing
firm organization.
- Strong knowledge of custodial and clearing platforms including Fidelity, Schwab,
Pershing, or others.
- FINRA Series 7 and/or Series 66 (63/65) preferred, additional industry licenses
and designations are a plus.
