Job description

Position Title: Project Manager
Salary: $130,000-$140,000/Year + Bonus DOE
Join a growing and well-established electrical contractor that has built its reputation delivering complex commercial, municipal, military, and public infrastructure projects throughout New Jersey. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple construction projects from award through closeout while serving as the primary point of contact for clients, field teams, and internal stakeholders. You'll manage project execution, coordinate schedules, review submittals, oversee change orders, conduct job site visits, and ensure successful project delivery while helping support the company's continued growth. We're looking for a self-motivated electrical construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex project challenges, and brings the technical expertise and leadership needed to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple electrical construction projects from kickoff through closeout
  • Coordinate project schedules, budgets, documentation, submittals, and change orders
  • Visit project sites regularly to monitor progress, resolve issues, and support field teams
  • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Review estimates, develop proposals, and assist with pricing for change orders when needed
  • Oversee municipal and government service contracts while ensuring compliance with project specifications
  • Lead successful project execution while maintaining quality, safety, and customer satisfaction

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of project management experience within electrical construction or equivalent combination of project management and field electrical experience
  • Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, infrastructure projects, and self-perform electrical construction
  • Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to develop proposals, manage change orders, and solve complex electrical project challenges
