Job Description:

Detail-oriented, reliable, creative team player to manage projects and programs and build business with existing clients.  This position could reside at one of BE's offices or at a client facility.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Project Management
    • Lead for developing project execution plans for managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
    • Manage the project team and ensure compliance with client, project, and internal standards and goals
    • Manage and report on project resources assigned by the Discipline Department Managers
    • Manage and report on project budget and progress
    • Primary point of communication between BE and the Client and all contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers, etc.
  • Business Development
    • Identify and act on opportunities to improve and expand business with existing clients
    • Develop proposals and estimates
    • Build client relationships between the Client Team and BE Team
    • Understand client trends and needs, coordinate with BE Management
    • Understand BE services and communicate with the client
    • Support business development activities
  • Other
    • Report on project status, financial status, issues, opportunities, and risks
    • Internal coordination on project resources across departments and other projects.
    • Advance company goals and objectives
    • Mentor project and discipline engineers and other project team members

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (preferred)

  • Experience:

Min Yr = 10

Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects preferred

  • Technical Skills:

Background in project development and execution for the oil & gas, chemical, renewable energy & power, and manufacturing industries

  • Management:

Experienced in leading the commercial interface with clients, and leading internal teams for project/program execution.

  • Other Skills:

Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing projects.
