Job description

Sigma Defense is seeking a skilled Program Manager with strong leadership, team management, program and financial management expertise, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and lead teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of DoW engineering experience in system development, with at least 5-8 years in program or project management.
  • Experience in leading programs, managing program risks, and resolving program-level issues.
  • Radar or electronic warfare development experience a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management processes and procedures, cost, schedule, and performance as it relates to program execution.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or related field of study.
  • Master's degree in a STEM field is preferred.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess an active Secret security clearance or higher (within past 2 years).
  • Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Generate, track, and maintain program plans to ensure project schedule, budget, quality, and specification goals are attained and contract requirements are met.
  • Oversee multiple programs and collaborate across functional teams.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to employees working on assigned projects.
  • Interface with customer program and technical stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely fashion.
  • Implement best practices aligned with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate across management and project teams to develop strategic plans and expand business opportunities.
  • Occasional travel to support customer meetings and new business opportunities.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 annually.
