Job Summary
Independence Pet Holdings (IPH) is undertaking a multi-year enterprise transformation to modernize its insurance technology ecosystem and build a scalable, digital-first operating model across its insurance brands globally.
The Technology Program Manager - Core Insurance Platforms is responsible for leading execution and coordinated delivery of strategic insurance technology initiatives across IPH's core insurance platform landscape, including policy administration, billing, claims, underwriting, integrations, and customer servicing capabilities.
Reporting into the Technology Portfolio & Delivery Office (TPDO), this role partners closely with business program leaders, delivery leads, product owners, system integrators, architecture, infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to drive execution alignment, delivery accountability, and coordinated program outcomes across multiple concurrent workstreams.
This role requires strong execution discipline, organizational leadership, and delivery coordination capabilities within complex enterprise environments. The successful candidate will lead integrated planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, and delivery governance in support of IPH's broader Paw Print transformation program and Skylark platform strategy.
Focus Areas
  • Delivery Excellence: Lead and coordinate delivery activities across core insurance platforms, integrations, and supporting technology workstreams to ensure successful execution against program objectives and timelines.
  • Transformation Enablement: Drive modernization initiatives across policy administration, billing, claims, underwriting, and servicing capabilities while helping establish scalable delivery practices and operational discipline.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner closely with business, technology, architecture, security, infrastructure, and vendor teams to drive alignment, dependency management, issue resolution, and delivery accountability.
  • Execution Governance: Drive visibility into delivery status, risks, dependencies, financials, operational metrics, and program outcomes across transformation workstreams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery activities across core insurance platform initiatives, including EIS Policy, Billing, Claims, Product Configuration, integrations, and supporting applications
  • Drive integrated planning and execution coordination with business program managers, technology delivery leads, product owners, and system integrators
  • Lead Agile / SAFe delivery routines, including program increment planning, dependency management, status reviews, RAID management, and execution tracking activities
  • Lead integrated roadmap coordination across applications, infrastructure, security, data, and integration workstreams
  • Drive visibility and accountability for program milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, financials, and action items across multiple delivery teams
  • Lead coordination with system integrators and vendors to monitor deliverables, escalate blockers, and ensure execution accountability
  • Build and maintain executive-ready dashboards, status reporting, and operational delivery metrics
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Information Security, and Engineering teams to ensure aligned and predictable technology delivery outcomes
  • Lead release planning, deployment coordination, environment readiness, and operational transition activities
  • Ensure delivery activities align with TPDO governance standards, reporting requirements, financial controls, and operational processes
  • Collaborate closely with business and technology leadership to ensure alignment between delivery execution and broader Paw Print and Skylark transformation objectives
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery governance, operational cadence, reporting standards, and transformation execution practices

Education and Experience
  • 12+ years of technology program or project management experience supporting enterprise technology delivery initiatives
  • Experience supporting insurance, financial services, or regulated industry technology programs preferred
  • Familiarity with insurance platforms and workflows, including policy administration, billing, claims, underwriting, or customer servicing capabilities
  • Experience working with system integrators, offshore delivery teams, and third-party vendors
  • Experience supporting enterprise platform implementations such as EIS, Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or similar platforms preferred
  • Experience working within Agile / SAFe delivery environments
  • Strong understanding of enterprise delivery governance, reporting, financial tracking, and dependency management practices
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business, Engineering, or related field
