As a Senior Program Manager here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will lead and manage complex aerospace and defense programs ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements. You will be responsible for defining program scope, objectives, and deliverables while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful program execution. Your role will include developing and implementing program plans, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and mitigating risks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
You will report directly to our Program Senior Director, and you'll work out of our Woburn, MA location. This position requires working on-site on a 9/80 work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the aerospace and defense business by driving operational excellence, fostering innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of critical aerospace programs that enhance flight safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage aerospace and defense programs to ensure successful execution and delivery aligned with customer and business goals
• Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Develop and implement detailed program plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Monitor program progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues impacting program delivery
• Coordinate communication with stakeholders to provide updates and resolve concerns
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize program management processes
• Develop proposals for new or repeat business opportunities and present to Senior Leadership
Qualifications
US PERSON REQUIREMENT
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Extensive experience in aerospace program management with a proven record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Strong expertise in defining program scope, resource allocation, budget management, and risk mitigation
• Proficiency with program management tools and methodologies tailored to aerospace industry requirements
• Demonstrated experience developing and presenting complex proposals for new and follow-on business opportunities
• In-depth knowledge of aerospace industry standards, regulations, and best practices
WE VALUE
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Experience managing large-scale aerospace or defense programs
• Experience with RF technology, radar or EW systems

The annual base salary range for this position is $195,500- $244,950. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell Aerospace considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
