Program Manager – Cumberland County
Shift: 
Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM 

About Us and Our Program:

Easterseals, a national nonprofit, has supported individuals with disabilities for over 50 years. Its Day Habilitation Services provide structured, person-centered support that helps adults with disabilities gain independence, build life skills, and connect with their community—all in a nurturing, safe environment.

What You’ll Do:

The Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations for Day programs including maintaining a financially sustainable program, supervision, and development of direct care staff, ensuring accurate billing and proper use of electronic records, monitoring the site’s regulatory compliance, and active participation in the growth and development of the program. This position will act as Regional Manager in their absence as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create a culture for staff and consumers that illustrate the values of Warmth, Respectfulness, and Expertise
  • Support and develop staff in a manner aligned with agency values.
  • Illustrate agency values when dealing with consumer families, other providers, agencies, support coordinators and Division staff.
  • Point-person for families/guardians.
  • Develop activities calendar for consumers, working with community vendors
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all aspects of EHR utilization.
  • Review documentation, billing and EHR reports; Resolve errors in a timely fashion.
  • Manage & monitor weekly billing to ensure program achieves or exceeds budgeted revenue targets.
  • Ensure all services provided are authorized for payment.
  • Ensure consumers are provided the full array of services for which they are authorized. Monitor consumer Medicaid eligibility.
  • Supervise all program staff in a manner consistent with agency values.
  • Support staff in developing the skills necessary to support all persons receiving services.
  • Actively manage staffing patterns and schedules to meet both consumer needs and financial objectives.
  • Ensure Environment of Care meets regulatory and ENJ standards.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and inspections of vehicles.
  • Ensure appropriate utilization of program funds and submit required documentation within prescribed deadlines.
  • Assist in developing program budget and actively manage revenue/expense targets against that budget

Who You Are:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years of DDD or related experience or one (1) year experience with a degree.
  • Requirements: Valid and active driver's license.
  • Skills: Technologically proficient with systems and quality/outcomes reporting.
  • This role requires driving as an essential function. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be subject to post-offer verification of driving eligibility consistent with company insurance requirements.
