Job Description Digital Business Analyst / Product Analyst - Insurance Modernization Contract Position Location: San Antonio, TX - Onsite Duration: Through End of Year with Possible Extension Schedule: 40 Hours/Week Travel: Minimal (5%) Position Overview Seeking an experienced Digital Business Analyst / Product Analyst to support a large-scale insurance modernization initiative focused on Guidewire platform enhancements and Personal Lines servicing workflows. This role will support state rollout execution and service transaction modernization initiatives while partnering closely with business stakeholders, Agile teams, and IT development organizations. The ideal candidate combines strong Guidewire insurance platform knowledge with Agile business requirements expertise and digital product delivery experience.

This position aligns closely with responsibilities typically associated with a Digital Technical Product Manager supporting enterprise insurance modernization programs. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for insurance modernization initiatives Support rollout and implementation activities for Personal Lines insurance products and servicing transactions Partner with business stakeholders and peer teams to define and refine business requirements Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and functional documentation Work closely with Agile development teams to support delivery execution and sprint activities Participate in: Sprint planning Backlog grooming Daily standups Reviews/demos Agile ceremonies Validate developed functionality against business expectations and acceptance criteria Assist with process improvement, workflow optimization, and digital platform enhancements Develop business case documentation, ROI analysis, and process assessments Collaborate with technology, operations, UX, and product teams to support enterprise digital initiatives Prepare presentations, status updates, and stakeholder communications Support KPI/KRI reporting and product performance analysis Ensure alignment with compliance, operational, and risk management standards Required Qualifications 3-5+ years of Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Digital Product Management experience 3-5+ years of Guidewire platform experience Strong Agile business requirements development experience Experience supporting enterprise digital platform or insurance modernization initiatives Strong understanding of: Agile methodologies SDLC processes Requirements gathering User story development Acceptance criteria Stakeholder management Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently within fast-paced enterprise environments Strong analytical and process improvement capabilities Preferred Qualifications Personal Lines insurance experience strongly preferred Experience with: Guidewire PolicyCenter Insurance servicing workflows State rollout implementations Digital product delivery Familiarity with: Jira / JWM Confluence Microsoft Office tools Process mapping and workflow documentation Understanding of Valuable Personal Property (VPP), Inland Marine, or Scheduled Personal Property insurance products Ideal Candidate Profile Enterprise Business Analyst with strong insurance technology experience Comfortable working between business stakeholders and Agile development teams Strong Guidewire and Personal Lines insurance background Experienced supporting digital transformation and modernization programs Able to drive requirements, process improvement, and delivery execution in complex enterprise environments
